The Medical Centre of Science, Research, Development, Treatment and Rehabilitation "Institute of Biological Medicine" was founded under the auspices of the International Foundation for Assistance to Chernobyl Victims in 2002 (License №16681/8140).

The activity of The Institute of Biological Medicine is defined as Scientific-Applied one (clinical) and covers 2 spheres:
- Scientific and Research - is developed on the basis of molecular biology, biological chemistry, biological genetics and immunology;
- Applied (clinical) medical and rehabilitation - in the field of cellular therapy and practical application of innovational biotechnologies and medicines.

Scientists and Doctors of The Institute of Biological Medicine introduce a complex approach to cellular therapy dealing with the "treatment of cells" rather than "treatment with cells". This approach allows to influence not only pathological process but in complex, renewing cellular, tissue and organic structure, functional activity.

The course of cellular therapy applies all accumulated knowledge of cellular activity; the possibility of restoration of cellular inherited material - genome in case of mutations caused by negative outside factors.

The programs of cellular therapy require knowledge of all spectrum of modifications of body regulation on different levels - neurohumoral and immune with consideration of the patient's inherited genetic information which shows predisposition to pathological processes and reactions. Preparation of complex examinations before making an individual scheme of cellular therapy is an integral part of clinical activity carried out by The Institute of Biological Medicine.

New approach in diagnostics, the so called "prognosing therapy", includes determination of the patient's biological age by examination of chromosome aberrations. This examination allows to value body resources, prognose premature ageing and such "diseases of the century" as atherosclerosis and its forms (hypertension, insult), malignant tumors, diabetes, etc.

The Institute of Biological Medicine applies modern highly technological equipment to carry out all these examinations.
